You can’t read a book by its cover. In the same way, you can’t judge someone by their appearance. You can’t see or touch another’s heart. Only they know what they truly believe. Free yourself from judging others. We all make mistakes. We are not the actions we have committed. Our identity does not change when we make a stupid mistake.
Jesus’ grace has covered every mistake we’ll ever make. We don’t intentionally make mistakes; we can think we are making good decisions. We can get carried away in our emotions and make an irrational decision that made sense in the moment. Jesus doesn’t judge us unrighteous because of that one (or many) mistake(s). He calls us the righteousness of God. He still sees us as blessed and highly favored. He sees us as the Word describes us. He sees us after His own spirit.
Jesus raises us up to a higher standard of grace that carries us over every mistake and into success and ultimately prosperity for His namesake. His grace abounds in us and through us mightily to work amazing testimonies of God’s goodness. God is not a respecter of persons. He loves everyone the same. The believers have chosen to reciprocate His love. God doesn’t judge us so we should not judge others. Love doesn’t judge!
“Lord, we thank You for Your love for us. Thank You for washing every sin away with Your perfect and sinless blood. Lord, I will not judge others by their appearance. I will not jump to conclusions based on what I see or hear. Lord, I love everyone and see them after the spirit and not the flesh. I know You love them just like You love me. I’m grateful for Your forgiveness, Jesus. Thank You for giving me the strength to forgive just like You have forgiven me. I am forever grateful to You, Jesus. In Your name I pray. Amen.”
