Prayer for every hurting heart

Prayer for every hurting heart

My heart goes out to everyone who is celebrating Thanksgiving without a precious loved one. I admit, it can get difficult at times. I’m thankful for God: my Rock, my Peace, my Joy, and my Comforter. I would not have gotten through grief without Him. There’s no way around it. I can’t even imagine how people can even attempt grief or mourning without God. It’s truly an impossible task. And no matter what others say, God doesn’t mind you crying for a loved one. Tears are an outpouring of love. They show how much that person had an impact on you. Here’s a prayer for every hurting soul. I pray it ministers to your heart and helps you to know how much you are deeply loved by God the Father, the Son, and Holy Spirit.

I pray that the Lord will comfort your heart in the way only He can. That He will so entrench you in His grace and peace that your memories become sources of joy and not just sadness. I pray that His goodness overwhelms your emotions and His blessings overtake you. I pray that Jesus walks into your life with the greatest expression of love you’ve ever experienced. I pray that you let God carry you through these difficult times. He so desires to wipe your every tear away and to draw near to heal, restore, and strengthen your heart. I pray that His light of kindness shines through all dark depression. I pray that Jesus’ mercy manifests in a tangible way to piece your heart back together. I pray that every lie of the enemy gets overshadowed by the unconditional love of God. I pray Holy Spirit’s perfect peace that surpasses all manner of thought and care embraces you in such a comforting way that you find rest in Him. No matter how hard it gets that God is with you, He is for you, and He’ll never abandon you. In Jesus’ precious, holy, merciful, and powerful name. I commit this prayer. Amen.

Share with others who need to be comforted.
With all of Love’s blessings,
