Don't be afraid

Don’t Be Afraid

Being afraid is an open door to Hell

To be in agreement with Satan is a dangerous proposition. Matthew 18:19 KJV – 19 “Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven.” If we agree with God, it shall be done. But if we agree with Satan? It also shall be done. It is not okay to take part in Halloween in any way, shape, or form. It is a demonic holiday. Willingly subjecting yourself to fear? That’s just plain stupidity. If you think being afraid is fun then you are deceived by Satan!

2 Timothy 1:7 (KJV) – “For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.” Fear affects all three of these areas. The authority we have in Christ. Our sense of  belonging and relationship with God. And Our mental stability, peace, and joy.

Fear affects your authority

Being afraid makes you weak; you won’t be able to use your authority. Adrenaline in short bursts may make you feel excited, and people who like to be afraid usually have an addiction to this feeling. Adrenaline was not designed for the body to be abused by manufactured fear! Too much epinephrine will damage the body’s immune response. Being constantly afraid will weaken your immune system. People who are fearful of many things will be welcoming, unbeknownst to themselves, all manner of disease into their body. Don’t let Satan and his minions invade your holy temple!

Fear affects belonging

Being afraid makes you feel unloved, which reinforces timidity and forces you to withdraw from others. If you feel unloved, then you won’t be able to love. You won’t be able to serve out of a joyful heart. You will expect everyone to feel unloved the same way you do. You may even lash out in anger or bitterness because you feel no one loves you. You will turn on anyone who gets too close. It’s a vicious cycle that destroys all joy in your life, separates you from those who do love you, and especially, pits you against God who can set you free from this fear. Don’t allow Satan to take the joy of your salvation away!

Fear affects how you see yourself

Being afraid twists your mental image of yourself and others. You see yourself powerless. You start to believe everyone is out to hurt you. You imagine terrible things happening to you and loved ones. You become paranoid about the world and then you become deactivated. You won’t step out in faith. You won’t trust God or others. You entertain the evil thoughts of Satan. You can become afraid to live. You could hear the voice of demons influencing you to do nothing or take drastic negative actions. You may isolate yourself from everyone else. Don’t let Satan steal your identity in Christ!

Light and dark cannot mix

Protect your ear gates and your eye gates! Extreme violence, extreme sexual images, and explicit language will harm your heart; even if you are Christian. You are choosing to align yourself with Satan and that is an open door for him to mess with your life.

Don’t even go there! What do darkness and light have in common? We are to be holy and set apart from the world. We are to look different and live different than the world. Look what the Word says about light and darkness.

John 12:46 KJV – 46 I am come a light into the world, that whosoever believeth on me should not abide in darkness.

2 Corinthians 6:14 KJV – 14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?

John 3:19 KJV – 19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.

Don’t be afraid anymore! Don’t take part in evil and expect good to come out of it! You need to turn off your light to take part in darkness!

Shine bright the light of Christ and repent from evil desires and deeds.

Prayer to set you free from fear

“Heavenly Father, I thank You for giving me discernment to recognize what is evil in my life. Lord, help me to get rid of all fear, evil desires, evil deeds, evil images, evil thoughts, evil sounds, and all things that don’t bring You glory. Lord I repent for taking part in evil. [Feel free to confess any specific events that bring up strong feelings of fear.] I renounce every demonic entity and influence I have welcomed into my heart. I reject every evil thing they have tried to give me. By the applied blood of Jesus Christ, I am made clean. With His blood, I cast out the spirit of fear and every demon attached to it. I also cast down every demonic stronghold that has resulted from fear. The perfect love of God casts out all fear. Lord, I receive that perfect love right now into my heart. I receive power, love, and a sound mind full of peace and joy from You, Father. Thank You for cleaning out my temple and removing every abominable thing. I praise You, for I am free from fear! Thank You, Jesus. I will continue to walk in holiness all the days of my life with Your guidance. In Jesus’ name, I commit this prayer. Amen.”
