Isaiah 60:19-20 (NLT) 19 “No longer will you need the sun to shine by day, nor the moon to give its light by night, for the LORD your God will be your everlasting light, and your God will be your glory. 20 Your sun will never set; your moon will not go down. For the LORD will be your everlasting light. Your days of mourning will come to an end.
Jesus is the Everlasting Light. He lives in us believers. Because of His light, we are now the light that is in the world. We are a city set on a hill: high up for all to see. We are lighthouses drawing those lost in the dark to shores of grace.
We shine our lights by demonstrating the love of God. We have received His love so that we can give His love to all. Be determined to shine your light for all to see. Others really need it!
