God loves the sound of your voice. God wants to hear your voice. Praying to Him means communicating with Him. It is never a waste of time!
It’s about your heart’s response. Not communicating is a type of punishment. Shunning and ex-communicating are well-known forms of punishment. Thinking that someone doesn’t care to hear you, acknowledge you, or even tolerate your presence is mentally taxing. We can be assured that our God will never shun us. He wants to have open communication with us.
What Father doesn’t want to hear their children’s voice? A good father desires to learn about their child’s likes, dislikes, hobbies, plans, and talents, so they can guide and help them reach their dreams. They enjoy spending time with their children.
How much more does our Heavenly Daddy want to spend time with us and help us reach the desires He’s placed in our heart?! What measure could amount to God’s desire for us? In Psalms it says that His good and precious thoughts toward us outnumber the grains of sand!
Be intentional with your praise to God. Take time and acknowledge His presence in your life. Share your affection with Him. Thank Him for the good plans He has for you. He wants to hear your voice!
