Satan’s tactics are always the same. He is the master deceiver. He’s out to steal, kill and destroy. He starts his onslaught with a thought. He’ll lie and try to convince you that God doesn’t love you. He will try to cause fear and worry in your heart. He searches for those who are wavering in faith and those he perceives to be weak. He attacks at the weak point.
But through Christ our weaknesses are strengthened with grace. We are able to not just withstand his attacks but go on the offensive with the spoken Word of God! We overcome Satan by the blood of the Lamb (our righteous standing with God) and the spoken Word of God (our sword of the Spirit that cuts down the enemy lies).
