In the beginning was the Word
That same Word created all
Mary, precious Mary believed
On that faithful night the Word was made flesh
The bridge to the Father had appeared
The pathway to righteousness was made clear
Jesus Christ, peacemaker between God and Man
Jesus Christ the Savior of All
Hear the Angels Sing
Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men
The 3 wisemen saw the sign written in the sky
They followed its glorious shining to the little town of Bethlehem
And there they found a newborn baby boy
The Messiah in the flesh, resting in a manger
Their joy was manifested in the gifts they gave
Finally the Anointed One had come at last

The shepherds were amazed at what they had seen
The Heavens opened the angels danced through the sky
The most joyous occasion the birth of our Lord
God in the flesh, Immanuel
Has arrived to proclaim the Gospel
To carry us from darkness into the light
