Mark 9:40 NKJV – For he who is not against us is on our side.
There is no sideline. Either you are for Christ or you are for Satan; there is no middle. Moses told us to choose life so that our descendants would live. This word for live is, “chayah,” and in broad terms means: to live, have life, remain alive, sustain life, live prosperously, live forever, be quickened, be alive, and be restored to life or health. This is the Old Covenant we are talking about.
Moses wanted the Israelites to choose life, choose God, and not to choose evil. To not choose God is to choose Satan. To not choose God is to reject life and embrace death. Since God wanted the Israelites to live prosperously in the Old Covenant, how much more does He want His engrafted branches, His own precious possession, His beloved children to live in abundant life! Jesus is the Tree of Life. Choose Life! Choose Jesus!
“Jesus, thank You for choosing me. Thank You for helping me receive the benefits of Your love. I choose You and reject all death. I speak only life in every situation. I do not speak death at any time. I keep my focus on You Lord. My mind is clear of all negative thoughts, attitudes, and beliefs. Jesus thank You for Your goodness toward me. In Your precious name I pray. Amen.”
